We like to think Yahoo! Sports for TV is the ultimate game day companion. You can get up-to-date details on multiple games all over the country, track your fantasy sports league and more.

Here aer a few words from our Product Manager and resident sports guru, Roger:

“As an avid sports fan, I wanted to make sure we created an interactive sports application that gives fellow sports nuts an experience that’s informative and entertaining. The application offers quick and easy ways to get real-time game and fantasy data without compromising your viewing experience or making you take your hands off your favorite game day refreshment.

After all, nobody spend all of that money on a widescreen TV just to watch the game in a tiny window or behind all of the stats. With Yahoo! Sports for TV, game day viewing is now more enjoyable and interactive. Whether you’re a huge sports fan or fantasy baseball or football nut, I’m confident you will not be disappointed.”

There have been a lot of questions about what we actually do here at Yahoo! Digital Home.

What do you Yahoos in Digital Home do–besides watch TV all day? 

We’re responsible for bringing the Yahoo! experience to TV and other connected devices. We’re leading Yahoo! into this new and exciting product category, creating the best of the next generation of “Lean Back” user experiences.  For us, it’s important to build an experience that optimizes Web content for TV screens, as it enhances the traditional TV viewing experience.

This is a big task. Did we mention that we’re hiring?

Did you know you can get your Yahoo! weather, traffic and photos through select TiVo boxes? 

Since we launched this service in 2005, we’ve gotten a lot of feedback about how convenient it is to just turn on your TV in the morning and get the information that you need in one place.
